The Steel Sturgeons are a completely self-funded team relying soley on community support. Without sponsorship, our team wouldn’t exist. Your sponsorship can help us with parts, tools, and materials for building our robot as well as food and travel for our team during meetings and competitions. By sponsoring our team, you help students from all incomes and walks of life be able to participate in robotics, ultimately supporting the excitement around and education of STEM in our school and community. More than 10% of our school’s population are supporting this team, preparing the next artists, communicators, builders, engineers, and leaders that will shape the future of industry.
Our team is trying to return to the FIRST World Championship this April in Houston, Texas. We need assistance to get there! We have far exceeded our expectations on what we could do in our first few years. Because of that, we know we have what it takes—skill, talent, and determination—to take on this challenge. And remember, when you support us, we also support you! We offer different levels of sponsorhip with various benefits, allowing the experience to be truly collaborative.

Checks can be written to “Greenspire High School” with a memo of “Robotics”. (The memo is important for us to make sure your donation goes where you expect.)
